The International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) is a free zone situated in Dubai and it is dedicated to production companies. The IMPZ free zone is located near the Jumeriah Village South and the Government wants to transform it into an evolved copy of Dubai Media City. International Media Production Zone was launched in 2003 and provides numerous facilities for companies acting in the printing, publishing and packaging industries. Currently, the IMPZ free zone is hosting approximately 200 companies. How to set up a Company in IMPZ?
The first step to open a company in the International Media Production Zone is to select the suitable type of company. Foreign investors may choose among the following types of structures:

The most employed type of company in IMPZ free zone is the free zone limited liability company as it provides a certain degree of independency with respect to the shareholding structure. The FZ-LCC may have a corporate person, a natural and a corporate person or a natural person as a shareholder.
